Quality rules and regulations for hospitality inside an Agrotourismus.

Every accommodation inside an Agrotourismus must provide the following services:

1. Change of bed linen at least twice a week, and always at the arrival of new guests;
2. Room cleaning at least twice a week, or – in case it is made by the customer himself – supplying the customer with the necessary equipment;
3. One complete bathroom every four beds, if the rooms have no private bathrooms;
4. A telephone for common use.
5. A first aid kit; in case of different apartments, a kit for each apartment;

In order to overcome every barrier to the handicapped, the following criteria must be followed:

1. Up to 10 accessible beds (depending on the building) must be prepared on the floor during the restoration works.
2. Over 10 beds the rules and regulations to be enforced are the following: Legge 9 gennaio 1989, n. 13, dal D.M. 14 giugno 1989, n. 236, as well as the law Legge 5 febbraio 1992, n. 104;

Food and hygienic rules:
Production, preparation, packaging and administration of food and beverages are subject to the current law: Legge 30 aprile 1962, n. 283, Disciplina igienica della produzione e della vendita delle sostanze alimentari e delle bevande;
If the farm serves food and beverages only to the lodging guests, these can be manufactured and prepared in the kitchen inside the house (provided it is large enough);
Preservation of perishables is under the responsibility of the farm owner, according to the current laws.
In the kitchen different foods can be prepared at different times: pasta, marmalades, fresh cheese, honey. The weekly amount for each product cannot be more than 50 Kilos.
For bigger amounts, or for the manufacturing of other products (meat included), a specific laboratory for each kind of food is compulsory.
Slaughter and meat manufacturing is forbidden, except for pork meat and only for family use.(art. 13, Regolamento di vigilanza sanitaria delle carni n. 3298/1928)
Slaughter is allowed only in case of birds, rabbits, and bred game.

Special equipped camping sites
If the farm does not own any building for hospitality, a camping site for six places (at the most) or ten (in case of bigger service centres) is allowed. The area must be provided with water and waste disposal devices.
If a farm can offer only 30 beds, then a camping site for 3 places is allowed as well.
Toilets must be built with brickwork, respecting the local characteristics. In every toilet there is a WC, a shower and a basin for 3 camping places. These toilets have to be separate by the ones inside the apartments.
Camping places cannot be floored, each area cannot be larger than 40 square meters, and shading can be made only with trees.
