On the east side of Chiscio river, Valfabbrica is a small Middle age village originally competed between Gubbio, Assisi e Perugia.

Around mid XII century it was fortified with walls and towers, of which the traces can still be found in some parts. Remarkable, nearby, a parish which preserves at the inside marvelous frescoes of the umbrian school dating bact to the '300s.
