This very charming small town has been named the "Belvedere" of the Terni plain, not only due to the fact that from the village of Cesi

one enjoys a truly stupendous view of the said plain, but also of the mountains which surround it, often crowned by very old and caratteristic small towns of medieval aspect. A walk to the beautiful church of St.Erasmus, situated on the mountain of the same name, where, among other things, an Astronomical Observatory is to be found, will enable you to further enlarge these panoramas.
