From Spoleto to Monte Luco
We recommend a visit to Monteluco, situated 8 km east of Spoleto. Along the road you will find the church of St. Peter and the "Bridge of the Towers( Ponte delle Torri), as well as the church of St. Julian.
Near the top of the mountain, close to a look-out point from which it is possible to see a spacious panorama, the convent of St. Francis, founded by the Saint himself, and immersed in a wood of oaks is to be found.
From Spoleto to Giano dell'Umbria
De Spoleto, en se dirigenat vers le Nord, avant de rejoindre Campello sul Clitunno, on peut visiter les villages fortifiés de Bazzano et de Poreta.
Après l’inévitable visite aux sources du Clitunno on atteint en quelques minutes le château et l’église de Pissignano sur la droite de la vallée et le Petit Temple du Clitunno situé près de la rivière. En retournant sur ses pas, après avoir quitté la route nationale Flaminia, se succèdent les indications pour Beroide et ensuite pour la Bruna, où l’on trouve un remarquable sanctuaire, à partir duquel, à travers une petite déviation, on peut découvrir l’église de Saint Brizio. En poursuivant vers la partie la plus cachée de la région on atteint d’abord Castel Ritaldi puis Giano dell'Umbria et non loin du village l’abbaye de Saint Felice.
