L'église de Saint Jean fût construite au XIII siècle à l'endroit de l'ancien fond baptismal. La façade et le clocher de l'église sont en style roman.
Le haut et élégant clocher est sûrement le plus beau de la ville. L'église à une nef possède un toit soutenu par de grands arcs transversaux construits sur des planches soutenues par de petites colonnes couplées, décorées de chapitaux ayant des décorations florales sculptées.
