The Castle of Alviano reconstructed in purely renaissance style as demanded by Bartolomeo d'Alviano in 1495, versus the previous middle age style, it was always aimed at by the close towns of Todi and Orvieto.
Inside nice architectonic examples can be found like the square courtyard with arcs "a tutto sesto" Today it hosts the Town Hall of Alviano, a museum of Modern Art, with a permanent exhibition of more than hundred paintings realised by contemporary artists, and the Center for audiovisual documentation of the Oasis managed by WWF. The Castle is also used as a Congress Center. View of the Alviano Castle.
